Sky New Zealand were looking to improve digital experience across web, understanding where opportunities existed and seeing how they could be brought to life. I lead this working with another designer and a behavioural scientist.
The heuristic review
To start, we needed to identify opportunities. To do this we used the Digital Health Check I had developed over my years to take a systematic and comprehensive look at the product. This splits the review into 5 key areas each with multiple sub metrics and a simple scoring mechanism. From this we averaged our scores and ideated opportunities for the lowest.

The Science
Following the digital health check, our behavioural scientist lead her own review to demonstrate nudges and behaviours that could be introduced throughout the experience to aid conversion. I worked closely with her, gaining an understanding of the science helped create a better end product.
No-code prototype
We wanted to impress the client and I felt standard Figma prototypes were not dynamic enough to demonstrate opportunities.
I pitched an idea to use Framer to develop designs that could be delivered to the client as a working demo website, fully responsive and enriched with animation, all within a few weeks. This proved to be a successful approach, reused for future pitches.
