As Design Lead, I shaped Wagamama’s digital hub, bringing menus, restaurant discovery, booking, recipes, payments and careers into one clear experience.
I led the information architecture, creative direction and built the design system—creating clearer journeys, a scalable visual language and a more consistent experience across every service.

I helped create and present the design. We demonstrated two variations, exploring classic and modern Japanese styles and dinning aesthetics. We also used motion in key places to bring food to life. Additionally I demonstrated how design systems would deliver this efficiently.

The website needed complete change. I worked with the client to build a new IA and refine the pitch creative. Then went into a sprint cycle to deliver the new structure and direction.
A large amount of new content needed adding with menus, restaurant finders, recipes and a careers hub.
I recognised early that to successfully deliver this project a focused, efficient and thoroughly annotated design system was required.
